Lecturers and tutors of courses in parks and leisure, whether contemporary or historic, are invited to allow PaRC to reproduce them here. In many cases, intellectual property will remain with the lecturer/author rather than the educational institution. In the case of defunct courses, no purpose is served by preventing re-publication of the course materials. Public authorities in the western Pacific Islands in particular can benefit.
Dr Penny Davidson scanned tertiary courses available in 2016 in research for PaRC and identified planning for open space as a field most lacking tertiary coverage.
See the notes for a basic course in horticulture for grass roots workers in Papua New Guinea.
Lecturer and consultant Dr Ken Marriott of Victoria has generously allowed PaRC to reproduce materials from his VET courses. (It is titled “Package 2”. Package 1 is indexed under “Project briefs” as it serves a guide to local governments on managing facilities).
