Overview

Case studies have been selected from policies, programs and projects being undertaken around Australia that encourage physical activity through changes to the built environment and have resulted in, or aim to improve mental and physical health.

Case study recommendations were received during the consultation and development of Healthy Spaces and Places from workshop and focus group participants, key stakeholders and project partners.

A broad cross-section of case studies focusing on different target groups, development types and with a wide geographical distribution are included that demonstrate healthy planning outcomes.
